This was my second time at Michigan.  The first time was eight years ago for a game against UMass...not exactly a big game so I always felt i needed to go back to get a proper read on the place so we decided to hit the opposite of the UMass game:  The Ohio State game in Harbaugh's first year when both teams were ranked in the top 10.

One issue with people/organizations that i have is that if you have to tell everyone how great you are every 5 minutes....you probably aren't all that great.   Whenever you meet a Michigan grad they don't wait too long to mention how great they are and the same is true at the game.  Every 2 seconds it's "the greatest fans" and the "greatest University".  It sure as fuck isn't the greatest college football environment, not even close.  Michigan people are, at their core, mainly boring, and the crowd and atmosphere there was nothing special, especially considering the opponent.

Michigan Stadium itself is a classic stadium but it's not an architectural masterpiece or anything.  The tailgate and surrounding area are very nice but nothing special.  I don't see myself going back there again, I'm a Michigan State fan at this point.
