Jets vs. Colts (1995)

Year:    1995
Games:   Indianapolis 27 NY Jets 24
Rating:   7 out of 10
Cost:  Moderate
Tickets:   Cheap:  Face Value was 25 dollars
Stadium:   The old Meadowlands....not too bad for a professional game
Description:   Many years before these formalized trips I took a trip with Ignatius P. Reilly and his family.  Somehow they were able to procure tickets for a game in NY so we drove to the Meadowlands (about 4 hours away) for the day.  We drove back that night.  The whole trip was a whirlwind, I remember nothing about the game other than smoking pot in the area designated as pot friendly at the time.    We have some funny pics of this game which I will post when I have the time.  I may have worn a Ronnie Lott jersey to this game (and I am a Patriots fan = fucking asshole) Now for some comments from Ignatius:

Side note:  Won't it be great when Pot is completely legal and you can smoke it at games?   I know this will never happen, but how fun would that be?

Attendees:  Bones, Ignatius P. Reilly, Full Court Press

my boss at HH asked if I wanted tickets to the jets game. Growing up in the boro, its pretty common. I didn't know the jets were playing the colts! but an adventure is an adventure so we went with it. I remember the Colts had a late QB Change and won the game on a last second field goal! great game to set us off traveling so see competition. I don't remember anything special about the stadium but I know we sat high in the end zone and the colts kicked the ball at us. I remember being happy the jets lost but the colts were in the patriots division back then.
