Stadium: Keenan is ok but no architectural
masterpiece
Description: UNC is average at best for football. The stadium is right in the middle of campus
which makes for a poor tailgate because there is no central congregation point. People
dress up for the games which I can never understand, I assume it’s part of the
wonderful addition to college life known as the "Greek System". Fans were surprisingly obnoxious but maybe I just sat in the frat section because all the dudes were dressed up like they were at a wedding.. Not a place I would make a special trip to
but wouldn’t mind seeing a hoop game there. I will say the campus is very beautiful, as are the women.
Chapel Hill also contains the best sports bar I’ve ever set foot
in. It’s a long rectangle with two
levels and TVs everywhere. If anyone
sees this and knows the name of the place please post a comment. Not even sure if it’s still there.
Note to anyone who was/is part of a fraternity or sorority: most intelligent people view you as shallow and pathetic. Fraternities and Sororities are for conformists who don't have the self confidence to meet friends and forge relationships on their own. Quite honestly, most of us feel sorry for you that you have to create a little exclusionary club to organize your fancy little dress up parties. There is nothing more awful than blind conformity, the entire system should be tarred and feathered. It also gets about 1000x worse if you are one of those truly heinous dinks that shows up at the frat house as an alumni. Just kill yourself.
