Stadium: So ugly it’s almost cute, but it’s
not. Two slabs of concrete in the middle
of a field. Probably the worst stadium I've ever been too. These days they play their games at Gilletee stadium. McGuirk is currently being renovated in the model of NIU so there is hope once they move back in a couple of years (2014)
Description: It’s a gem in western Massachusetts. It is big time? No. Is the stadium nice? No, it’s a piece of shit. But it’s UMass and it’s got a certain feel
that you can’t replicate anywhere else.
Fuck you if you don’t like UMass.
Don’t Miss: The Hangar, Northampton Pub and Brewery,
Antonio’s, Anthony’s, Castaways
Avoid: Amherst Brewing Company, McMurphys. Any
other pizza joint in town
